It’s an 88 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS! Its two door and about 8 months ago the latch on the outside of the door on the passenger side broke! You could open it from the inside still! Now this morning the latch on the outside of the driver’s side is broken! Is there any way to get the doors to open on this car?

I need to pick a metal color and wood color for doors in my house. I would love to use copper hinges and door knobs but they are very hard to find, so I’m going to go with aged bronze. I personally think bronze would look good on Cherry doors, other people have suggested medium oak. What is your opinion, I’m definitely using aged bronze for metal, I’m just looking for an opinion on door stain color.

What I am trying to do is fit a upvc french door which is a good price, as standard size 1490 by 2090 to an existing opening which is 1490 by 2054, unless I take some of the floor away as steel lintel above, is it likely the door could be trimmed in anyway, don’t need sill as between conservatory and dining room.

It was really cold one morning and i went to open the drivers door of my car and it wouldn’t open. then a few weeks later the same thing happened to my passenger door. Now I have to reach in through the back doors to let myself in. I need to fix this before the same thing happens to my back doors. I know I have to take the door panels off but i don’t want to do that til i have the parts i need, in case i need to go somewhere.

having trouble opening my upvc window the handle and lock work ok its a Espagnolette. when you push to open the right hand side is free but the left hand side wont move think the pin is still in locked ! ive taken handle off and tryed to use a diffrent handle but same thing happends any ideas anyone ?
the handle for the window and the handle for the door latch. You need some flat round thing you slide between the handle and the door and it gets it off. can you get them off without one?

My husband is replacing our door handles with the knob variety at my request and when doing so has encountered a spring problem with them not returning the catch properly, can anyone suggest what we can do to recify the spring loading/catch problem as he is telling me to return them.
