My Passenger Door wont open from either handle and to take the door skin off There are screws in the seal. Does anyone know how to open a door without the handles?
The rubber button came off and I haven’t found it. I tried to find other cases on Google, with no success. I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem.
hello, I thought I’d brighten up my house by removing & cleaning all the internal door handles. they are old fashioned, lever type, quite a heavy metal. I don’t think they’re brass since they are very dark in colour. how can I: 1) clean them and then, could I possibly 2) paint them? a different, and bright colour? any help appreciated, thanks.

We are building at the moment and have a variety of people working in the house (doing windows , putting up fencing, installing bathroom…). Some of them do a brilliant job and are really conscientious (as we mainly went by personal recommendation before getting a quote). Do you normally give a tip and how much?
But one of them has made a real mess of his work; with which we weren’t at all happy. He claimed is craftmanship is very good but in the end it turned out that he didn’t really have a clue and caused us a lot of hassle with his incoherence. (Our windows are hardwood and we asked if he could do double glazing. He said yes although he only has experience with UPVC. He injured himself twice due to lack of protective clothing and spilt blood all over the place. He walked onto the window sill which now needs complete stripping and painting again. On asking he said well it needed doing anyway…) How much discount do you normally ask for if you experience so much hassle?
Do you give builders (and the likes ) a tip (e.g. 10% more on top of their bill) if you’re happy?
Do you ask for a discount (x % off their bill) if they make a mess of the work they were supposed to do and cause you hassle?

I would like to change my factory installed car door handles to chrome ones. How difficult will this be? Do I have to take the door apart? Or should I just let the dealer do it.

I have a 2003 Toyota Camry, and under each door handle is a thin light strip of rust beginning to form. I tried spraying WD40 in the handle and scrubbing with a toothbrush. It helped a little bit, but the rust is still there! Help

Maybe you hitched a ride with somebody, and as you pulled the door shut you realized the inside door handles had been removed and you couldn’t open the door to get out. Would you panic? Start kicking at the window? Ask what’s going on, pull out your mace, or knife, or what?
what kind do i buy? the one with a tunnel or the one without. i was told by the glazer company to buy one with a tunnel as its a hollow panel. but its a very thin hollow panel so will it just look messy or is there more to it? i am getting one fitted on a budget you see . there is a difference in price of £5
