We are having a UPVC soffit fitted and we want 5 downlighters fitted. We have been told no transformers though.
I am assuming we need to buy LED – any ideas which ones to get? We want white ones preferably, but the more I have looked on the internet the more confused I am. I have seen some for £50-£60 EACH but we don’t want to spend that much!!
Also, am I right in thinking I should be looking at IP65? Are these lights something I can buy from Wickes, or Homebase etc?

I have a 1991 Husqvarna CR 125 (2 stroke) in need of a little TLC.
Yesterday i removed the exhaust system as it sounded terrible, soon as it came off it was obvious why it sounded so bad, the tail pipe wasn’t connected to the bellow part and the bellow was held to the cylinder/exhaust port with only one spring ( which was the wrong type and WAY too big)
So after potchin with it i managed to fit a makeshift seal from an o-ring out of some UPVC piping for the cylinder end connection and some nice new springs to hold it in place, and sealed the tail pipe to it with aluminium tape stuff i found in the shed which suprisingly has help up perfectly!
Its sounding better today and the power difference is tremendous! but it still doesnt sound right, my question is, would it be ok to apply an exhaust sealant like gun-gum to both the connections to make an airtight seal ? or does anyone know another effective method?
I am doing some serious work to my house. In addition to the brand new kitchen, bathroom, I will also be changing all the doors and their associated hardware.
This includes, handles, knobs, hinges, etc.
I would prefer to buy Baldwin, Emtek grade. In fact, those brands most likely. I am located in Southern California.
Any authorized dealers online or physical location (within 30 miles) that would be willing to give me a good price on a set for my entire or home? My contractor has a license, he could buy it as well.
I will probably need about 8-10 knobs (levers, etc.). A couple of handles, and hinges.
OK, i am doing a science project on polymers. i need the molecular formula and molecular structure of UPVC AND PPVC. But when i search for it on the internet, it gives me one molecular formula and molecular structure that covers both. i just want them separate. any help please?
If you have one of these cars you know whats wrong. The car is great and runs well but every cars has the same fault, the door handles. probably the worst design of a doorhandle ever, i was wndering if anyone had any insight on how to fix these without dropping a couple hundred bucks. I know that theres a pin inside that you need to push, but doing that no longer helps my passenger side door. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I’ve just had new uPVC windows installed on my house. We went for the equal sight line options which means that on the non-opening window it has a dummy window so they look the same size just that it won’t open. In the bottom left hand corner is wobbles a bit and I was wondering if this could mean the window will fall out. Or how is the dummy window fixed into the frame (it looks like its pushed in from the outside so how would they secure it?)
I have looked and could not find anything i am looking for a garage locking T handle kit if anyone can direct me to a website that would be great Thank You
