Awesome Bob! My bedroom door rattles everytime the AC or Heater goes on… and it always wakes me up! THANKS! Can’t wait for more videos! Could you do one on Flooring installation in Basements?
What type floor interested in Tile?Hardwood?Vynyl?Floating laminate?—Bob
WEll… probably Tile and carpet… The thing I am worried about is the fact that the carpet/foam could absorb water thru the cement floor. Do you recommend putting something down before carpet? It doesn’t seem like as much a problem for Tile… but what about hard wood? Thanks for the quick response…
Probably interested in anything that might have an issue with water absorption thru the cement foundation. IE- Carpeting or Hard Wood. Is there any specific prep needed for these? I am sure others would want to know. Thanks Bob… David
thank you BOB door been rattling for months fixed, sleep better tonight
I put a couple of those stick on felt dots at the top and bottom of the door frame on the latch side. Not only does this help to quiet it’s closure, it provides just a little “give” in the middle so the door closes easily but stays closed snuggly.
An interesting alternative,makes sense,Thanks for sharing+++Bob
